Step 1: Hand-cut Glass

Each glass piece is cut by hand, then polishing the edge before wrapping the copper foil.

Step 2: Wrap Copper Foil

The edges of the glass pieces are wrapped with adhesive copper tape

Step 3:Glass Assembly

Glass pieces with different shapes are put together according to the pattern.

Step 4: Soldering

The edges of the glass piece need to be soldered together for a firm hold.

TECHNIQUE
The Hearts Plant stake have been produced with high-quality US Spectrum Glass, copper foil, patina, and big, big love. The technique we utilize is called “soft soldering” also known as the “Louise Tiffany Method”. This approach has been used for centuries by stained glass artists all over the world, specifically for decorating cathedrals, chateaus, and mansions.
